RTK.ie was born out of a mission to provide Ireland’s surveying, construction, and agricultural sectors with the high-fidelity correction data they need to perform at their best.
Originally developed under our parent company’s umbrella, RTK.ie has grown into a dedicated hub for professionals who can’t afford to settle for standard GPS margins of error. We specialise in delivering seamless, centimeter-level satellite positioning that integrates directly with your machine control, surveying equipment, and precision farming tools.
By combining deep technical expertise with a commitment to local Irish infrastructure, we ensure that when you’re in the field, your data is as reliable as your work ethic.
A network two decades in the making.
Our first encounter with RTK technology came in the early 2000s. From that moment, the idea took hold: build a network of GNSS reference stations that would deliver precision corrections of the highest quality to users across Ireland. That ambition stayed with us — quietly, persistently — as we spent the years that followed accumulating hands-on experience with receivers, software, and network architectures across the surveying and construction industry.
The ignition point came in 2017, when Philip Hanrahan and Dariusz Liszka began working together. Two professionals, each with decades of direct field experience, combining their knowledge for the first time — that partnership gave the project its momentum. In 2018 they moved from ambition to action, and the RTK.ie concept was designed from first principles.
What followed was four years of rigorous testing — evaluating receiver technologies, refining station architecture, and consulting with professionals — before a single station went live commercially. The result is a network built without shortcuts.

The RTK.ie network is entirely independently owned and operated. Every commercial station is part of our own infrastructure — making RTK.ie one of the only CORS networks in Ireland with no structural dependency on third-party or state-owned reference data.
This independence translates directly into reliability and continuity of service for our customers, regardless of changes in the broader market.

Industry experience from the ground.
Sentrinav was founded by two professionals who have spent their careers working directly in the surveying and construction industry — not observing it from the outside. Their collaboration since 2017 was the catalyst that turned a long-held idea into one of Ireland's most capable GNSS networks.

Philip Hanrahan Co-founder Philip began his career in construction engineering before moving into the delivery of precision surveying solutions to industry in the late 1980s. With over four decades of hands-on experience, he has worked through the full transition from optical to satellite-based surveying — giving him a depth of practical knowledge that spans every major shift in the profession. |
Dariusz Liszka Co-founder & General Manager Dariusz began his career in 2000 in the technical service and repair of precision surveying instruments, working with leading manufacturers including Zeiss, Spectra Precision, Trimble, Leica, and GeoMax. That foundation — built on understanding instruments from the inside out — evolved into deep technical support and application expertise. Since moving to Ireland in 2016 and joining forces with Philip in 2017, he has focused on GNSS network design, infrastructure, and delivering technical support across construction, government, and agricultural clients. |
Supporting science & sustainability.
We believe positioning infrastructure can contribute to more than precision and productivity. Our network also supports scientific research, environmental monitoring, and public-interest initiatives.
We share selected GNSS data with organisations including the International GNSS Monitoring and Assessment Programme (IGS/IMPC) and the German Aerospace Center to support space weather monitoring and forecasting over Ireland and surrounding regions.
Our reference station data is also made available to universities and research institutions studying continental shelf movement, geodynamics, and long-term Earth observation projects.
We remain open to collaborating with organisations, institutions, and projects aligned with scientific advancement, environmental responsibility, education, and public benefit.
